The practice of using hair in art and wearables is as old as people have been mourning, but these lockets are inspired by the hair art produced during the Victorian era. The artist learned this craft from books written during the 1860s and 70s, and has been producing pieces of art using hair for the past six years.

The locket has been sealed to protect the longevity of the hair, please do not attempt to open. Rosary-style chain is included, with lobster clasp at the back for ease."
