This is a frosted bat cookie carousel hat designed and made by me. It is made of a interfacing carousel base with a felted tent top and bottom. The bat cookies are made of layered felt with hand sewn bead sprinkles, each bat strongly adhered to the candy stick pole. The carousel is embellished with a white venice lace around the top, a satin double bow hand sewn to the side, a braid trim at the base, and a little felted bat the top. The hat is lightweight and fastens with either two alligator clips hand sewn to the underside, a black satin ribbon wrapped headband, or no fastening for desk decor!
