The star and line pattern at the top of the socks and the smaller stars near the ankles are made with silver threads. The silver thread is non-elastic, so the sock will be tighter where the silver thread is woven. The brand says the socks fit most US adult shoe sizes and should be washed inside out in cold water inside a delicate garment bag or hand-washed.
