[Design notes] Made of soft velvet with loads of stretch! Short puffed sleeves with elastic cuffs. Back zipper closure. Decorative buttons at the yoke. Framed in black velvet ruffles. Fitted bodice. Full skirt wide enough for even your biggest petticoat (not included). Hangs as a simple A-line style dress without a petticoat underneath. The fabric is quite heavy so we suggest doubling up your petticoat or using the strongest one in your arsenal for the most poof. Rows of ruffles adorn the skirt.* Version 2.0 features a change to the collar fit (to accommodate a variety of neck sizes more comfortably). Please see the mannequin photos to see this change (features the blue version of this dress as it is easier to see the details on the lighter color). It’s the same height of collar as the original but is now a gathered ruffle with an opening at the back so it should fit most necks very easily!
Custom sizing is not available for this item. Size quantities are limited and once it has sold out we cannot guarantee when restocking will occur. Each colorway for this dress is only available in a super limited quantity.

[Brand comment]
Black: To us velvet is synonymous with last embers of autumn, the way night at the end of October seems inky and deep. The veil between the living and the other realms thins, and you can almost speak directly to the shadows themselves.
Red: A deathly bride wreathed in sanguine velvet, lips stained with blood, reaches a pale hand from her coffin to check her phone for notifications…

[Care instructions] Hand wash cold, hang to dry, iron on low when necessary. We do recommend dry cleaning for this dress as it will preserve the velvet more beautifully.
Restocked in 2020 and 2023 (red). 2020 and later releases have a gathered collar.
