We used Toile de Jouy, a French linen with an attractive pastoral feel. The large collar is pin-tucked and decorated with cotton chemical lace for an antique feel. The raglan sleeves and tucks at the peak of the season give a clean look, and the line that gently spreads toward the hem gives it an elegant look. The plain linen covered buttons, cuffs and tabs on the back are trimmed with piping cord to tighten the whole thing and bring out the world of toile de Jouy. A light and moody linen coat perfect for early spring or early fall.
