(User my_lolita_dream) Material feels like cloud-soft cotton, just doesn't wrinkle easily thanks to % of polyester. Great modern fabric. Bit see-through, but as the dress are fully linned, it is no issue. The inner(also black) linning is attached to skirt by woven strings so it cannot climb up during walking. Laces are top quality tulle lace, dutifully sewn on witch matching beige stitch. Top and down hem of the bodice is made in black stitch, very decent, almost invisible accent to support the visual shape of dress. The lace ruffles on bodice are tricky to describe...it is actually three kinds of lace in pattern (ABA) C (ABA) C (ABA). "B" and "C" are thin borders with different rose patterns both 1cm wide, while "A" is 3,5cm wide hemming lace also with own rose pattern. The "A"lace's non-ruffled part is first sewn on to "B" cheek on cheek, then after 1cm sewn on to dress again, so there is some gathering, and from THAT starts the actual ruffle. All in all, very neat and good work, the laces are not too peeking into space and still the bodice is not flat. I own the black version. It fits me not so well, the bodice is short on me because of my 183cm. The breast part fits good due to my A cups, but the waistline sits not in natural waist(75cm) but near my lower ribs(78cm). The difference from the place the dress waistline sits to my natural waist is 4 cm. It is so-so but still allows proper breathing and eating. However, generally would not recommend to be more than 78 waist, the dress could maybe stretch a bit more, but even I feel the waistline hugging me kinda closely when I put the waistline to my natural waist(75). So the best fit would get girls with maximum 75cm waist measurement. The material is soft like cloud, definitely late spring/summer thing despite the color. Laces looks good and are high quality. The dress are somewhat oldschool(actually is oldschool black sweetloli), but definitely no problem fitting it into modern gothic or even classic lolita. I cannot ged rid of the feeling that with two braids I look like Wednesday Addams in this dress. :) Wearing it feels very comfortable, almost like pyjamas, despite the waist issue. The material is super friendly to travelling, does not wrinkle a tiny bit after more than 16 hours of walking around in the city and sitting in café armchairs - and 40 days packed in box (due to moving to other house) after that!
